Science Museum Cub Scout Camp-In

The Science Museum of Western Virginia (Center in the Square, Roanoke ) is becoming a Cub Scouting laboratory! Come for an exciting evening of interactive activities:

Planetarium show
Megadome Show
Museum explore time and scavenger hunt
Opportunity to earn weather and science belt loops & pins
Evening pizza snack & morning breakfast

Dates:
Three dates to choose from:

• Friday, January 13 , 6:00 p.m. Saturday to January 14, 11:30 a.m.

• Friday, January 27 , 6:00 p.m. Saturday to January 28, 11:30 a.m.

• Friday, February 3 , 6:00 p.m. Saturday to February 4, 11:30 a.m.

Cost
Cost is $35.00 and includes Scout and parent or guardian. Sorry, no siblings or friends, only registered Scouts with adults. Additional Scouts in your family can register for $25.00. A patch will be available at the museum for $2.00

Registration must be received seven (7) days in advance (see due dates on registration form). ABSOLUTELY NO WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! The Science Museum has limited the event to a maximum of 75 Scouts. Registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Last year the event sold out quickly, so register early! You must bring a Class 1 Medical Form for each participant (youth and adults) with you to the event

2006 Winterplace “Scouts on Skis”

Winterplace Ski Resort’s Scouts on Skis program is back for it’s seventh year of snow fun for everyone! This terrific program is offered to ALL Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Explorers, family members, leaders, and Unit approved guests.

This year’s dates are:   Sunday, January 8, 2006
                           Sunday, February 12, 2006
                           Sunday, March 5, 2006

NEW!!! The Basic Ski Package for this year will be $40.00 per person (age 6 and over) for those who pre-register and pre-pay prior to their ski date – after that, the cost is $45.00 per person. NO OTHER DISCOUNTS, coupons, etc. may be used in conjunction with this already great price. For your Basic Ski Package price you get:

- NEW!! Ski rental equipment (skis, boots, poles) This year includes Shaped Skis!
- A 14-hour lift ticket – good for all lifts (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
- A 90-minute ski lesson (group format)
- Cubs can earn the Skiing Sports Belt Loop too!
- Meal Voucher that will include choice of burger or pizza or chicken tenders along
with fries & drink.

NOTE: Everyone attending “Scouts on Skis” MUST attend with their Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, or Post - NO INDIVIDUAL FAMILY REGISTRATIONS (unless you’re the only family attending) - ALL GROUPS MUST HAVE A GROUP LEADER who is listed on the pre- registration form!
